OTIS Wins Sunglasses Brand of the Year at the SBIA Awards!

OTIS is stoked to announce that OTIS Eyewear has just won Sunglass Brand of the Year at the 2023 Surf & Boardsports Industry Association Awards. This is the 6th time out of the last 7 years we’ve been recognised with this coveted trophy - making us the most-decorated sunglasses brand in the award’s history! 

 

 

 

OTIS got the nod because of our combination of high-quality mineral glass lenses, plus continued efforts to improve sustainability, such as the expansion of our EcoAcetate frame offering.

 

Sally Kerr, Head of Brand and Product at OTIS, emphasizes the huge significance of this achievement, saying, "It's a fantastic honour to get a nod from our retailers who deal with many sunglass brands year-round. Being their number one choice means the world to us. This award really shows the dedication and hard work of the entire OTIS team in creating an exceptional eyewear brand."

 

The night was celebrated with over 100 personalities from the boardsports industry including retailers, brand representatives and industry veterans at the iconic Manly Pacific Hotel. As a bonus, OTIS also came runner up in Best Small to Medium Brand of the Year, edging out other finalists like Oakley, Ocean & Earth, and The Critical Slide Society.
